Bulipp is an unusual name. Where does it come from?
 It's origins
go back to my best friend's youngest daughter, when as a toddler she
used to say Bulipp instead of Philip to me. The name has stuck in the
family ever since.

Your repertoire is quite extensive. Where do your ideas come from?
I enjoy observing my surroundings and fellow beings which produces a great many suggestions. Anecdotes that reach my ears are
also a useful source of ideas. Luckily most of us are clumsy at one time or
another so I guess there's a wealth of ideas yet to be discovered. I would like to add here that an idea on it's own is not enough to entertain an audience with. It is the thought and rehearsal that transforms an idea into an entertaining moment on stage that is without doubt the most challenging part of this profession!

Where do you perform?
 Over the
years I've performed at fringe theatres, opera houses, on travel
coaches (never again!) and cruise ships, in barns, warehouses,
churches, guildhalls, amphitheatres, civic centres, stadiums,
film-studios and circus tents, to name but a few, for corporate, public and private
venues alike. "Phew!"

What are the technical requirements for your performances?
 That
depends on the performance space in question. Adequate lighting and
audio systems are necessary, plus a good view of the stage from all
seats. A phone call is usually sufficient to take care of any
queries.

Where are you performing next?
You can keep track of most of the public shows here on my webspace.
